Elizabeth Otter’s foray into real estate began over a decade ago when she was a buyer. Purchasing a three-flat in Chicago’s Little Italy neighborhood, she helped to renovate it before selling the property. Her love for the real estate process lead her to want to aid others in their journey. As a member of the KD Homes team, her passion for helping people and connecting them to resources and services is what drives her and partially comes from her previous experience in the healthcare industry. Her vision for real estate is to put her clients’ best interests first while helping them achieve their hopes and dreams during what can be a complicated process.
She is energized by building genuine and long lasting relationships with people where she can help them achieve their goals. Whether that is sharing a recommendation for an amazing painter, facilitate an introduction between wonderful people, or finding their next home or investment. She believes in clear and proactive communication and that buying or selling a home should be fun and exciting, which is why her project management skills throughout the process and deep knowledge for the Chicagoland real estate market provide immeasurable value to her clients.
Elizabeth attended Saint Ignatius College Prep for high school, received her BA from Fairfield University, where she double majored in English and Sociology. She also has a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She lives in East Humboldt Park with her husband and two sons. When she isn’t helping people Move Confidently, Elizabeth loves reading, travel, exploring different neighborhoods, discovering new music, podcasts, being outdoors, skiing and hiking. Elizabeth has been to 44 states and 38 countries! She grew up in Hinsdale and Chicago.
