"My husband and I heard about Kimber through a family friend and are so glad we had the privilege of working with her. She made the process of buying our first home seamless and went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable with every step of the process. We had very inflexible work schedules, and Kimber went out of her way to clear her schedule for us any time we were able to come into town to look at listings (we were living in Boston while trying to purchase a home in Chicago). We didn't have a great sense of what we were looking for, and Kimber patiently took us to several different neighborhoods so we could get a feel of the different parts of Chicago and find the area that best suited our needs. She easily took us to 20-30 listings before we found the right one, and she never made us feel like we were wasting her time or frustrating her with our indecision. It was clear throughout the entire process that her knowledge, both about the industry and about each different neighborhood, was unparalleled. We ended up choosing new construction, and Kimber knew exactly what questions to ask to ensure we were getting a quality product. When it came time to close, we were unable to be present for the final walk-through due to travel restrictions imposed by our jobs, and Kimber stepped in immediately. She took care of everything for us (and did a much more thorough job than we could have possibly done ourselves). She made sure that we were 100% happy with our purchase, to the point where she took on a personal cost to ensure we'd end up with an amenity that our sellers had previously guaranteed (but then backed out of providing in the final negotiations). After we closed, we had a few items remaining on our punch list, and Kimber went out of her way to let contractors or carpenters, etc. into our home while we were still in Boston to make sure everything got completed for us. We were blown away with our experience working with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Chicago area, especially to other residents and fellows like ourselves that have unforgiving work schedules. Beyond being an incredible relator, we have come to know her as an incredibly kind and thoughtful person, and hope to stay in touch with her moving forward!"

"I've known Katie personally for a long time now, and this is the first time I had the opportunity to see her work professionally. She is caring and puts her heart fully into everything she does. Our first showing was for a multi-unit home where I had my eye on potential rental income. As usual, the pictures on the listing were much more forgiving than the actual property. Katie and her colleague Drew were there to provide a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of the home and its needs. The property didn't work out for us, but the experience showed that Katie and her team had our best interests in mind. They were willing to take the time to educate us and guide us. Katie was very responsive with booking showings, was on time for every viewing, and would answer any question I sent her way. Setting up appointments, answering questions, and doing the clerical work is a requirement of any agent, but where Katie helped the most was when we were ready to put in the offer. As a first-time homebuyer, it's easy to think of buying a house like buying lunch: you go in, you tell them what you want, you pay, and you eat. In general, it's the same, but the nuance is where Katie provided critical expertise and guidance. She helped us pick an attractive price point for the offer, and emphasized the importance of the offer letter - something that originally seemed foreign to me. A personal touch goes a long way, and that's something Katie understands. With our offer submitted the wait began. Of course, we weren't the only people looking at our beautiful home. So, once again, Katie offered critical guidance. The final negotiations presented tough choices, but with Katie's help, we were able to secure the winning bid! I cannot thank Katie enough for her help. We truly found our dream home, and I hope that anyone reading this is able to do the same."
